Print formats and sizes

There are three different formats (aspect ratios) available from this website: landscape, panoramic, and portrait.  The images available in my gallery have been tailored to meet the format I consider provides the best presentation for the image.

Within each format there are various sizes available.  The formats and sizing is illustrated in the below diagrams.  To browse the images on this website according to the formats just click on the relevant diagram.

If you’ve seen an image on this website and you’d like it on your wall in a different format and/or size, that’s not a problem!  Just contact me with your request.

Print media and quality

There are three media options available when ordering through this website.  Custom media is available upon request.

The Canvas option is produced by the professional team at The Photo Gallery in Dunedin, New Zealand.  The canvas is coated with UV resistant liquid laminate for long-life and stretched onto a 20mm wooden frame.  Framed canvas looks incredible on any wall!

The Fine Art Paper is a 100% Cotton fourdrinier-made rag paper (310 GSM) from Ilford. With no optical brighteners and the longevity, image stability and a clean matte surface required for the very best in fine art printing, this is the perfect choice for crisp detail.  The textured cotton features a contoured surface for enhanced creative expression.  This option is printed by the professional laboratory at The Photo Lab, Christchurch, New Zealand.

The Lustre Archive Paper option, more officially known as ‘Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digital Lustre Paper Type PD”, is Fuji’s highest grade and longest lasting paper.  It offers colour reproduction which has accurate and vibrant colours with a “true-to-life” look.  This option is also produced by the experts at The Photo Lab.

Unless otherwise requested, both the Fine Art Paper and Lustre Archive Paper is cut to include an additional 25 mm (approximate) of extra paper around all sides of the image, which makes placing the print in a mat or frame much easier.

The prints are unsigned and do not contain any logos or copyright information.

Print costs

Print costs are displayed on the individual image pages once the media and size are selected.  All costs are in New Zealand dollars.  The payment gateway is via Paypal (Paypal allows payment via credit card).

Shipping handling and costs

The Fine Art Paper and Lustre Archive Paper prints are rolled in acid-free tissue paper and shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube.  Canvas prints are bubble-wrapped and then enclosed in corrugated cardboard for extra protection.

Shipping of all prints is free within New Zealand.

For shipping to Australia, a flat rate of $40 (NZD) applies to delivery and handling of all Fine Art Paper and Lustre Archive Paper sizes.

For the rest of the world, a flat rate of $65 (NZD) applies to delivery and handling of all Fine Art Paper and Lustre Archive Paper sizes.

At the current time I am unable to ship Canvas prints internationally due to the high costs which apply (however, please get in touch if you would like me to look into this for you).

International shipping and handling costs will be automatically calculated and added to your total at the website checkout.  Please note that if you are located in an especially far-flung location then higher shipping and handling costs may apply and you will be advised following your order.

Following payment please allow 1-2 weeks for the image to be shipped.  Delivery within New Zealand typically takes 3-5 working days.   Delivery worldwide may take approximately 8-10 working days.
